You just have to get to the Phi Phi Islands first.
If you have heard of Thailand, you know of the Phi Phi Islands.
If you head down south to one of Thailand’s most famous islands, you can see Phi Phi Viewpoint 1 2 3. Of course, you don’t have to see all of them. But the third one is totally worth it. And hey, why not catch a view of the others on your way back down. That’s what I did.

All of them are phenomenal. My favorite of the three, and the most difficult one to get to was the 3rd viewpoint.
I went hiking up to the viewpoints with two of the other Xplore Asia girls. I had no idea that there were three viewpoints.

I also had no idea it would take so long. Well, it didn’t take that long. But with the heat, humidity, and steep roads, it seemed like it took much longer.

The first viewpoint is easily accessible and you can climb a bunch of stairs to reach it. From that viewpoint, you can see a good portion of the island.
You can pay ฿30 (~USD 1) at the first viewpoint. That just includes the first two out of the three.

Once we were more than halfway there, some dude came and asked if any of us wanted a ride up to the top. I immediately said yes. He ended up bringing me to the second viewpoint for ฿20. It was a bit frightening because the path was not paved and there were many rocks and bumps so I felt like I was going to fall off at any moment.
There were some cabins right near the second viewpoint which was pretty cool. I bet the views from inside of the cabins were delightful. There was also a mini restaurant that was inside the viewpoint area. I’m not sure if it was open though.
At the ticket counter, I got to meet this cutie monkey who loved my bracelet.
I paid the ฿30 (less than USD 1) to enter Phi Phi Island Viewpoint 2 and was on my way hiking up a few more rocks to reach the appealing view.

After shooting some horrible selfies, someone offered to take some photos of me. Yay. Once I was finished, I tried to get some service inside the mini convenience store. After countless times, I finally got WiFi. I got in touch with the other girls and I found out that they were at the third viewpoint. I grabbed a water bottle for ฿10 and left the second viewpoint.

I hiked my way up the steep hills yet again.

The distance from the second to the third viewpoint was about 15 minutes and I came across more bumpy paths. I honestly had no idea where I was going and just followed the path. Luckily, there were some signs every so often that relieved me.

After paying another ฿20 to get into the third viewpoint, I was at ease. That ฿20 included a water bottle so hey it wasn’t too bad. I’m pretty sure someone lives at the top so that’s why they charged an extra fee.

It was only us three there so we got some quality photos and got to take in the exquisite views. We chilled at the top and then realized we were all starving.
It took about twenty minutes to go back down. We were able to cut through the second viewpoint and found a path that led us to the stairs of the first viewpoint- that’s where the “I Love Phi Phi Viewpoint” sign is.
That night, there was a party at a beach bar called Ibiza. One of the other girls and I went and got a few too many buckets. It was a sort of memorable night.

Overall, Phi Phi Viewpoint 1 2 3 are all appealing. I highly recommend going to the third viewpoint if you have time/endurance. But hey, I definitely don’t have the latter LOL.
What a gorgeous place Maria. I just boated through on my way from Koh Lanta to Phuket. Fab spot with some serious photo-IG potential.
